Time is flying by and as of this writing we are about 6 weeks away from our Reunion Party on Saturday, September 17th. This update will verify times, etc. Our start time will be 4:00 pm and run until 8:00 pm or later.
We are continuing with the same set-up as last year with the tent and the lounge. Lonzi will be playing in the lounge and just oldies played in the tent. We will continue to offer special pricing on beer and drinks and new this year will be food. We will be providing some munchies and finger foods.
Rooms are available at the Sea Isle Inn at a special weekend price. Just mention that you are with the reunion. The lounge will be divided into 5-6 sections marked with the name of a group with a placard. An example of the groups will be: Townsend Inlet: Lifeguards; Teenage Bar; Rockin Hi Hop; Sea Isle Schools; Under 21 Club. These may be subject to change but it will make it easier to find old friends. What started out as a 50s & 60s reunion is developing into a broader group including the 70s and eventually the 80s as well. It is a get-together for people who love Sea Isle and have made friends in Sea Isle over the years.
Very important! We are still missing email and home addresses for a hundred or more persons we have been unable to contact. Help us out please. If you see a name on our website that does not have an address, sent it to me and I will get them on our mailing list and invited to the reunion.
Friday night will be a informal “Get together” at Twistie’s in Strathmere. If you remember Twistie’s and the gang who frequented this memorable establishment, you won’t want to miss it. Hope to see you there around 8:00.
